I am utterly livid! Recently, a representative from a so-called "digital company" approached me with a job offer. Upon inquiring further, I discovered their operations involved something morally repugnant to me: promoting clients in a manner that is not just unethical but also deceitful, especially when these services are offered to clients with their hard-earned money at stake.
As a person who has dedicated themselves to the field of marketing, such practices are abominable. To make matters worse, when I voiced my concerns, the response I received was not only unprofessional but downright offensive. They resorted to personal attacks, calling me an idiot and insisting I needed to learn English. While it's true that English is not my primary language—I live and work in the Czech Republic and am originally from Ukraine, and I admit, my English is not the best, and I rarely use it—this in no way justifies their demeaning behavior.
Learning is a continuous process, but unlike this company, I conduct myself with respect towards others and do not engage in duping my clients. It's appalling to see such predatory tactics being employed in the digital marketing industry. This company's actions are a disgrace, not only undermining the trust in digital marketing professionals but also exploiting their clients. Their behavior is a grim reminder of the caution needed in the digital world, highlighting the importance of ethics over profit. The lack of professionalism and decency displayed by them is absolutely unacceptable.
