Shockingly bad experience with Webinterpret.
My experience with Webinterpret has been extremely disappointing and, honestly, business-damaging. This was not just a small technical issue or normal customer service problem. Webinterpret translated/mirrored listings across international eBay markets caused serious problems with my eBay account, including duplicated policy issues, translated listing problems, stale/mirrored listings, and restriction strikes connected to Webinterpret listings.
Webinterpret even confirmed in writing that restriction strikes happened on Webinterpret translated listings and that I had not interfered with the translations. Despite this, the support and escalation handling has been shockingly poor.
I repeatedly raised the issue and asked for proper help before the damage became even more serious. Instead, I received delays, excuses, and no proper senior response. Kamil kept giving updates or excuses but then failed to properly respond, even after I sent a serious escalation explaining that my eBay account had been restricted and my business was being damaged every day.
My eBay selling account is now restricted, my sales have stopped, my visibility and account momentum have been damaged, and I am facing serious financial consequences. Webinterpret offered to refund one small invoice of £55.22, which is completely inadequate compared with the wider damage caused.
The worst part is the lack of responsibility and urgency. When a third-party service creates or multiplies listing problems that affect a seller’s main selling account, it should be treated as an urgent senior-level complaint, not ignored like a normal billing query.
Overall, my experience has been terrible. Poor communication, poor accountability, slow responses, excuses, no proper senior escalation, and no meaningful compensation review. I would strongly warn other sellers to be extremely careful before allowing any service to automatically translate, mirror, or duplicate listings across multiple eBay markets, because if something goes wrong, the damage to your account can be huge and the support may not be there when you need it most.
