I am extremely disappointed with Zentist shop and the complete lack of respect for customers' time.
On Friday, I visited at 10:15 a.m., even though the advertised opening hours state the shop opens at 10:00 a.m. The shop was closed, there was no notice explaining why, and after waiting for 15 minutes, nobody arrived.
I decided to give the shop another chance on Saturday. I visited before 2:00 p.m., during the advertised opening hours, only to find it closed again with a note saying it would reopen at 3:00 p.m. I returned at 3:30 p.m., and the shop was still closed, with the same note still displayed.
I travelled from the other side of York because I wanted to buy a gift for someone, but this was a complete waste of my time.
If the owner cannot commit to the advertised opening hours, then they should either update them accurately or reconsider running a customer-facing business. Customers should not have to guess whether the shop will actually be open.
This level of unreliability shows a complete lack of respect for customers. Thankfully, I found another shop in York that values its customers and keeps to its advertised opening hours.
I will never return to this shop and cannot recommend it to anyone. If you are planning to visit, be aware that the published opening hours appear to be meaningless, and there is no guarantee the shop will actually be open when it says it will.
