The Next App is a software company headquartered in Rotterdam. It was launched in 2016 by Berry Goudswaard, a hands-on developer with more than 20 years of real-world experience.
We focus on bespoke mobile apps and web platforms—designed and built fully by our own in-house team. We don’t outsource work, and we don’t rely on freelancers. Our core toolkit consists of Flutter for cross-platform iOS and Android apps (one codebase), NestJS to deliver backend APIs, and Angular for the web front end.
Since adopting Flutter in 2018, we’ve brought more than 65 production apps and web solutions to market for clients such as Gemeente Rotterdam, KNVB, and Quooker.
